Description

American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Med Surg/Telemetry position requiring cardiac drip and dementia management experience along with an active NH or Compact RN license.

Details

• Med Surg unit within a hospital setting
• Adult-geriatric patient population
• Required to float to Kingsbury as needed
• Uses Epic EMR system

Requirements

• Active RN license (New Hampshire or Compact) required in-hand at time of profile submission
• Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required
• NIHSS certification strongly preferred
• Minimum 2 years of Med Surg experience required
• Cardiac drip experience required
• Dementia experience/management required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Must have personal vehicle due to lack of public transportation in the community

Additional Information

• Coordinate total nursing care for patients including patient and family teaching
• Collaborate with ancillary nursing and patient care team to maintain professional nursing standards
• Traveler-provided professional scrubs required with no logos
• RTO requests of 5 days or less accepted and must be submitted prior to offer, as post-offer scheduling requests may result in a rescinded offer
• RTO on October 31 (Halloween) will not be approved
• Block scheduling will not be accommodated
