Description

American Traveler is hiring a Travel RN - OR for a surgery center position requiring 1 year of recent acute care OR experience and float coverage across multiple surgery centers.

Details

• Work in the Operating Room department of a fast-paced surgery center
• Day shift schedule, 5 days per week from 6:45 AM to 3:15 PM
• Lower acuity patient population with a wide variety of surgical cases including ortho sports med, general, ENT, pediatrics, GYN, podiatry, plastics, and urology
• Patient ratios of 1:1 in the OR and 2:1 in PACU
• Uses paper charting and SIS EMR system
• Required to float to all surgery centers in the Denver area on an as-needed basis
• 13-week assignment length

Requirements

• Active RN license (CO state or compact) required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 1 year of current acute care OR RN experience required
• Experience circulating a variety of service lines in a fast-paced environment preferred
• PEDS experience preferred
• No gaps in work history equaling 90 days or more within the past 12 months
• US Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration
