Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Tele night shift position requiring 18 months of recent Med/Surg Telemetry experience and an Ohio or compact RN license.

Details

• Work in the Med/Surg Tele unit of a hospital setting
• Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Uses Epic charting system, recent experience within the last 6 months required
• Required to work at least every other holiday
• Locals accepted at the same rate

Requirements

• Active Ohio RN license or compact license in hand required
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS (preferred)
• Minimum 18 months recent permanent Med/Surg Telemetry experience required
• Recent Epic charting experience (within last 6 months) required
• One professional reference required from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the applicable specialty from an assignment within the past 12 months

Additional Information

• Provide direct patient care to Med/Surg Telemetry patients
• ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessment completed during orientation, with an acceptable score required on both
• Nicotine-free facility requirement is currently waived for nurses
• First-time travelers are not required for this role
• Previous permanent or per diem employees cannot return to this health system for 1 year from their prior end date
