Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Operating Room RN for a night shift assignment at a Level 1 Trauma teaching hospital, requiring DaVinci Xi robotic and liver transplant surgery experience.

Details

Works in the Operating Room department of a hospital setting
Night shift schedule, 3x12-hour shifts (18:30-07:00), 36 hours per week
Level 1 Trauma center environment
Holiday and weekend coverage required
Supports a wide range of surgical specialties including general surgery, gynecology, orthopedics, neurology, urology, ENT, plastics, and transplant procedures
Experience with robotic-assisted surgeries required, specifically the DaVinci Xi Surgical System
Liver transplant surgery experience required
Additional preferred experience includes ophthalmology cases such as cataract extraction and eye trauma

Requirements

Active OH or compact RN license required in hand at time of consideration
Minimum 2 years of OR nursing experience required
Current BLS and NIHSS certifications required
Level 1 Trauma experience preferred
Required experience with DaVinci Xi Robot and liver transplant procedures
Education must be from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program
2 professional references required, with at least one from a manager, director, or supervisor; a Charge RN may serve as the second reference; coworker references not accepted

Additional Information

Provides intraoperative nursing care across a broad range of surgical specialties in a Level 1 Trauma teaching hospital
First-time travelers are welcome to apply
Locals are accepted at the same pay rate
Former employees are eligible for a travel assignment once they have been away from the facility for 6 months or more
Current employees of any Ohio State University hospital location are ineligible to work as a traveler
Requested RTO must be submitted with the contract and limited to 7 days or less
Candidates must be prepared to complete Ohio-specific fingerprinting requirements promptly after signing the contract
