Description
American Traveler is hiring a night-shift RN for a Labor & Delivery/LDRP position requiring NM or compact RN licensure and NRP certification.
Details
- Work in the LDRP unit of a hospital setting
- Provide care to laboring, delivery, recovery, and postpartum patients
- Perform various point-of-care testing procedures
- Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
- Full time, 13-week assignment
Requirements
- Active RN license in New Mexico or current Compact state license
- Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NRP (all AHA)
- Graduate of an accredited Registered Nursing program
- Clinical experience appropriate to the LDRP patient population
Additional Information
- Coordinate and implement individualized patient care plans based on age-specific needs and assessments
- Reassess patients systematically to identify progress and trends requiring intervention
- Participate in patient and family health education and discharge planning
- Document timely interventions and evaluate the effectiveness of care plans
- Must reside within a 50-mile radius of the facility for the travel pay rate
- Candidates who previously worked at any CHRISTUS Health facility (non-travel) must have a 6-month separation period before being eligible for this travel assignment
