Description
American Traveler is hiring a Labor and Delivery RN with recent EPIC and Cerner experience for a day shift position in California.
Details
- >setting Labor and Delivery unit within an acute care hospital
- 36 hours per week on day shift, 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
- EPIC and Cerner EMR proficiency required
Requirements
- Active California RN license required
- BLS certification required
- ACLS certification required
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification required
- BSN preferred
- Acute care facility experience preferred
- Recent and proficient experience with both EPIC and Cerner EMR systems required
Additional Information
- Deliver coordinated nursing care to assigned Labor and Delivery patients following established standards and the nursing process
- Supervise and direct various levels of nursing staff while coordinating care with other disciplines
- Collect and analyze patient assessment data to determine diagnoses and care priorities
- Develop and implement individualized care plans, coordinating care delivery to promote health and safety
- Evaluate patient progress toward expected outcomes and adjust care as needed
- Collaborate with patients, families, and the healthcare team to provide safe, healing, and compassionate care
- Provide patient and family education and participate in discharge planning for continuity of care
- Appropriately delegate and coordinate duties among healthcare team members
- Located in a hospital setting known for its Magnet designation from the American Nurses Credentialing Center
- Accepts local candidates with no radius restrictions
- Candidates with more than 5 days of requested time off may be automatically declined
- Candidates with a prior adverse licensure action will not be considered
