Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Emergency Dept position requiring BLS, PALS, and ACLS certifications along with at least 1 year of ER experience.

Details

• Work in the Emergency Department of a community hospital setting
• Night shift schedule (3x12 hours, 18:00-06:00)
• Six on, eight off rotation pattern (Thurs-Sat; week 1 Sun-Tues; week 2)
• 24-week contract length
• No on-call requirements
• Floating required as needed within scope of practice
• Hospital uses MediTech charting system

Requirements

• Active RN license (state or compact) required in hand prior to start
• Current certifications: BLS, PALS, and ACLS
• AHA certifications strongly preferred (American Red Cross and ASHE Heartsaver not accepted)
• Minimum of 1 year of ER experience required
• MediTech charting experience preferred but not required
• Minimum of 2 supervisor references required, up to 3 total

Additional Information

• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to qualify for travel pay rate
• Local candidates are not accepted for this position
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Travel pairs are accepted
• Employees must be separated from the facility for a minimum of 1 year before returning as a traveler
• RTO must be submitted at time of application
