Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Operating Room position requiring at least 2 years of specialty experience and expertise across multiple surgical specialties.
Details
- Work in the Surgery department of a hospital setting
- Operating Room unit covering multiple surgical specialties including robotics, neuro, ortho, plastics, and gyn
- 12-hour night shifts from 7pm-7am
- 3 shifts per week for a 13-week assignment
- No on-call responsibilities
- Coverage period falls within the holiday season
Requirements
- Active RN license (GA or Compact) currently in hand
- Current AHA BLS certification required
- AHA ACLS certification preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in the Operating Room specialty
Additional Information
- Provide perioperative nursing care across a variety of surgical specialties
- Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be eligible
- Returning staff who previously worked permanently at the facility must have a 2-year break before returning as a traveler
- Holiday coverage required during the assignment period
