Description
American Traveler is hiring a Rad Tech - X-Ray for a 20-week holiday coverage contract requiring ARRT (R) certification and state license.
Details
- Hospital-based imaging department with 2 X-ray rooms, 2 CT, 1 MRI, 1 Ultrasound, 1 Mammography, and 1 Nuclear Medicine room
- X-ray patient population includes inpatient, outpatient, and ED cases
- 12-hour day shifts every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday
- 36 hours per week on a 13-week schedule cycle
- Uses R&F, General Rad Room, Portable, and C-arm equipment
- EPIC EMR and Change Healthcare (McKesson) PACS system
- May float throughout the hospital for bedside exams and to the outpatient clinic
- On-call requirement of 1 call shift per week and 1 weekend every 6 weeks
- Holiday coverage required as part of rotation
Requirements
- BLS and ARRT (R) certification required
- State license required if applicable
- Experience performing various diagnostic exams within the X-ray modality
- Minimum of 1 year of experience accepted
Additional Information
- Perform diagnostic X-ray exams for inpatient, outpatient, and ED patients using R&F, General Rad Room, Portable, and C-arm equipment
- Support on the unit includes a Lead Tech during days, 24/7 Respiratory Therapy and Hospitalist coverage, on-site Radiologist during the day (remote after 5:30 PM), and Rapid Response Team availability
- Orientation includes New Employee Orientation (NEO) followed by approximately 3 days of clinical rotation before working solo
- COVID vaccine required
- Professional procedural scrub color required
- Parking available on site
- RTO requests must be approved through the manager
- First-time travelers considered upon review
- Onsite manager interview required
