Description

American Traveler is hiring a Registered Nurse-Operating Room with required vascular surgery experience and a minimum of 18 months perm OR experience.

Details

• Work in the Operating Room department of a hospital setting
• Day shift, 4x10 hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
• Requires 1-2 call shifts per week

Requirements

• Active Ohio RN license or compact license required in hand
• Current BLS certification required
• Minimum of 18 months permanent Operating Room experience required
• Vascular surgery experience required
• One reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the OR specialty required, from an assignment worked within the past 12 months

• Locals accepted at the same bill rate
• PBDS Assessment is waived; ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments completed during orientation, with a maximum of 2 attempts to pass
• Nurses are exempt from the facility's nicotine-free requirement
• Permanent and per diem candidates cannot return to Cleveland Clinic hospitals for 1 year from their previous end date
• Assignments may extend up to 18 consecutive months, with a required 6-month break before returning unless client-approved
• First-time travelers are not accepted for this position
