Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Labor and Delivery position requiring an active OH or compact license and 2+ years of L&D and post-partum experience.
Details
- Work in the Labor and Delivery unit of a hospital environment
- 13-week assignment
- Night shift, 4x12 or 3x12 hour schedules (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM)
- Rotating weekends and holidays required
- Circulator duties required
- Floating within the hospital or to nearby affiliate hospitals required
- Epic charting experience preferred
Requirements
- Active RN license (Ohio or Compact) required
- 2+ years of experience in Labor and Delivery and Post-Partum care for mom and baby preferred
- Current certifications required: Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), Basic Life Support (BLS), and Electronic Fetal Monitoring (EFM)
- ACLS and STABLE certifications preferred
- Two professional references required for consideration
- Copy of driver's license and Social Security card required for consideration
Additional Information
- Provide comprehensive nursing care during labor, delivery, and post-partum recovery for mothers and newborns
- Complete pre-start and orientation training modules through HealthStream
- First time travelers are welcome to apply
- Local candidates are accepted
- Submit all requested time off (RTO) at time of consideration
