Description
American Traveler is hiring an Outpatient Occupational Therapist with some pediatric experience for a 13-week assignment serving patients with autism, ADHD, sensory processing disorders, and other conditions.
Details
- Outpatient occupational therapy setting
- Treat pediatric and adult patients
- Patient diagnoses include autism, ADHD, sensory processing disorder, learning disabilities, brain injury, hypermobility/soft tissue disorders, and mental health conditions
- Day shift schedule, 4x10 hour shifts from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM
- 13-week assignment length
Requirements
- Active Alaska OT license required if applicable
- NBCOT certification required
- Current BLS certification required
- Minimum 1 year of experience required
- Some pediatric experience required
- Experience with charting systems required
Additional Information
- Provide occupational therapy services addressing activities of daily living, sensory integration, and neurodevelopmental treatment
- Work with pediatric and adult populations across outpatient, psychiatric, and school-based settings
- First-time travelers considered with sufficient experience
- Local candidates accepted at the same pay rate
- Limit requested time off to 5 days or less
