Description

American Traveler is hiring an Outpatient Occupational Therapist with some pediatric experience for a 13-week assignment serving patients with autism, ADHD, sensory processing disorders, and other conditions.

Details

  • Outpatient occupational therapy setting
  • Treat pediatric and adult patients
  • Patient diagnoses include autism, ADHD, sensory processing disorder, learning disabilities, brain injury, hypermobility/soft tissue disorders, and mental health conditions
  • Day shift schedule, 4x10 hour shifts from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM
  • 13-week assignment length

Requirements

  • Active Alaska OT license required if applicable
  • NBCOT certification required
  • Current BLS certification required
  • Minimum 1 year of experience required
  • Some pediatric experience required
  • Experience with charting systems required

Additional Information

  • Provide occupational therapy services addressing activities of daily living, sensory integration, and neurodevelopmental treatment
  • Work with pediatric and adult populations across outpatient, psychiatric, and school-based settings
  • First-time travelers considered with sufficient experience
  • Local candidates accepted at the same pay rate
  • Limit requested time off to 5 days or less
