Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Tele position requiring a PA or compact RN license and every other weekend availability.

Details

• Work in the Med/Surg Tele (MS/Tele) unit of an acute care hospital
• Care for a general medical/surgical patient population requiring telemetry monitoring
• Night shift schedule, 3x12 hours from 6:45 pm to 7:15 am
• Required to work every other weekend
• No on-call requirements
• No floating requirements

Requirements

• Active RN license, PA or Compact, at least pending with a clear ETA
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS
• Minimum of 2 years RN experience required
• Medical/Surgical/Telemetry skills required
• Meditech charting experience not required
• PA fingerprinting, Childline Abuse Clearance, and PA Department of Aging fingerprints required for travelers who have not resided in PA for the past two years

• Deliver telemetry-based nursing care within a Med/Surg unit
• Holiday availability requested
• Local candidates accepted at the same pay rate
