Description

American Traveler is hiring an MRI Technologist requiring ARRT (R)(MR) certification and at least 2 years of specialty experience.

Details

• Hospital-based MRI department position
• 4x12 hour day shifts from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM
• 13-week assignment
• Every 3rd weekend required
• 1 holiday required
• No on-call requirements
• Potential to float to nearby Jefferson Stratford and Jefferson Cherry Hill campuses
• Utilizes GE and Siemens MRI equipment along with PACS
• Performs MRI procedures including abdomen/pelvis, head and neck, chest, spine, musculoskeletal, and cardiovascular imaging
• Charts using Epic EMR

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as an MRI Technologist required
• ARRT (R)(MR) and BLS certifications required
• State license required if applicable
• Epic EMR experience required
• Teaching hospital and community hospital experience preferred
• Proficient in preparation and administration of contrast media, radiation safety, and starting peripheral IVs
• Skilled in isolation precautions and PPE use
• Experience with a wide range of MRI imaging procedures including MRA, MRV, MRCP, and cardiac MRI preferred

• Black scrubs required
• First-time travelers accepted
• RTO must be submitted at time of consideration and no additional time off will be accepted afterward
• Local candidates accepted within a 50-mile radius at a differential rate
• Perform MRI imaging across multiple specialties including neuro, cardiovascular, musculoskeletal, and abdominal studies
• Responsible for patient safety and image quality during MRI procedures
