Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced ICU RN for a night shift travel position requiring critical care experience and a TX or compact RN license.
Details
- Work in a 27-bed Intensive Care Unit within a hospital setting
- Patient ratios of 2:1 and 3-4:1
- Night shift schedule, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, 3x12-hour shifts
- 13-week assignment length
- Call coverage possible
- Float to Stepdown unit as needed
- Uses MEDHOST EMR system
- Navy scrubs required
Requirements
- Active RN license (TX or Compact) required
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Minimum 2 years of recent critical care/ICU experience required
- Certifications must not expire within first 30 days of assignment start
- No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
Additional Information
- Provide critical care nursing services to ICU patients
- Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this travel position
- RTO requests must be less than 1 week
- Not eligible if previously employed as permanent staff at this health system within the past 2 years
