Description

American Traveler is hiring an ICU RN for a night shift position requiring MT or compact RN license, BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications, plus 1 year of ICU experience.

Details

• Work in the Intensive Care Unit of a hospital setting
• Night shift schedule with 12-hour shifts, 3 days per week
• May be required to float to other departments within scope of competency and qualifications
• May be required to take on-call during a regularly scheduled shift
• Uses Epic charting system

Requirements

• Active MT or compact RN license required
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications from AHA required, must not expire prior to start
• ASN required, BSN preferred
• 1 year of ICU experience required
• Epic EMR experience required
• DOB and last 4 of SSN required for consideration

Additional Information

• Perform independent nursing functions and delegated medical functions per state Board of Nursing standards
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for ICU patients
• Document care in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines
• Review and monitor patient therapy and treatment plans
• No block booking of RTO will be approved
• Former Intermountain permanent staff must be separated from any Intermountain facility for at least one year before being eligible for a travel assignment
