Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced Med/Surg RN for a night shift assignment requiring an active WA or compact RN license and 3+ years of experience.
Details
- Adult Med/Surg unit within a hospital setting
- 13-week contract with night shift hours (1845-0715)
- 36 guaranteed hours per week with every other weekend off
- Opportunity to pick up extra shifts as available
- Floating to other departments required on a rotational basis
- Familiarity with Meditech is helpful but not required
Requirements
- Active WA state RN license or compact license accepted with additional verifications
- Completion of approved 6-hour suicide prevention training required
- Verification of demographics from Nursys required
- Minimum of 3 years RN experience required
- Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
- Must be a team player willing to float to other departments
Additional Information
- Provide direct nursing care to adult Med/Surg patients
- Work collaboratively as part of a team and support cross-departmental needs through floating
- RTO requests must be approved in advance and will be added to the end of the contract
- Located near Pacific Northwest beaches and the Olympic National Forest
