Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a 13-week Emergency Department contract requiring TNCC and NIH Stroke certification.

Details

• Hospital-based Emergency Services department (Unit 780)
• 13-week contract assignment
• Shift schedule from 11:00 AM to 11:00 PM

Requirements

• Active TX or compact RN license required
• Minimum 1 year of recent experience in the Emergency Department specialty
• Current BLS and ACLS certification (AHA or ARC accepted)
• TNCC certification required for ER placement
• NIH Stroke Certification required
• CPI or approved equivalent (SAMA, MAB, or ACPMA) required for ER units
• No certifications may expire within the first 30 days of assignment start
• No gaps in work history totaling 90 days or more within the past 12 months
• US Social Security Number and Date of Birth required for consideration (Canadian SSNs not accepted)
• Professional references required (one reference for most states, two required for Florida and Missouri)

Additional Information

• Provide emergency nursing care within a hospital ED setting
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility as local candidates are not accepted
