Description

American Traveler is hiring a Rehab RN for an inpatient rehabilitation hospital, requiring prior IRF/med-surg experience and proficiency with Cerner.

Details

• Inpatient rehabilitation hospital setting (not a nursing home or LTAC)
• Patients typically stay approximately 14 days
• Night shift schedule with 3x12 or 4x12 hour shifts (18:45-07:15)
• 36H/48H rotating schedule
• Every other weekend required
• Charge nurse responsibilities expected on each shift, managing a team of patients
• Uses Cerner EMR system

Requirements

• Active FL or compact RN license required, must be in hand at time of consideration
• Current BLS certification required
• ACLS certification preferred, and required if functioning in Charge Nurse role
• Minimum 1.5 years of experience required
• Prior med-surg or inpatient rehab facility (IRF) experience required
• Proficiency with Cerner charting system required
• Charge nurse experience required with willingness to charge each shift
• Experience with IV therapy, central line care (PICC lines), and starting/maintaining IVs
• Prior travel nursing experience required

Additional Information

• Navy blue scrubs with closed-toed shoes required
• Free parking available on-site
• RTO must be submitted and approved at time of consideration; no additional time off approved after offer
• Cannot request every holiday off
• Call-outs require more than 24 hours advance notice
