Description
American Traveler is hiring an MRI Technologist with 2+ years of recent MRI experience and Siemens/GE equipment proficiency for a Level 1 trauma acute care facility.
Details
- Acute care setting within a Level 1 trauma hospital with 200 beds and 2 MR units in the department
- Outpatient MRI department, primarily staffed by a single tech on weekends
- Performs diagnostic MRI exams including Neuro, MSK, Breast, and Body imaging, with majority of exams being outpatient
- May float to the main hospital as needed
- Uses Epic One Chart, Sectra PACS, and Siemens and GE MR units
- 3x12 hour day shifts, Fri/Sat/Sun, 6am-6pm (or possibly 7am-7pm), 36 hours per pay period
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of recent MRI experience required
- ARRT (MR) certification required
- BLS certification through AHA required
- ND state licensure required (NDMIRT) - license required if applicable
- Siemens and GE MRI equipment experience required
- Epic EMR experience preferred
Additional Information
- Performs MRI exams exercising professional judgment regarding procedures, MRI safety, and quality patient care
- Breast scans are commonly performed and a female chaperone may not be available
- All clinicians must badge in and out at the facility
- Gray scrubs required
- Local candidates may be considered, though a reduced rate applies for those living within 80 miles of the facility
- Candidates with prior employment at any facility within this health system must disclose this information for review
