Description
American Traveler is hiring an RN for an Emergency Department position requiring 18 months of recent ED experience and an active Ohio or compact RN license.
Details
- Work in the Emergency Department of a hospital setting
- Night shift schedule (3x12 hours, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM)
- Uses Epic EMR system
- Required to work at least every other holiday
Requirements
- Active Ohio RN license (permanent) or compact license in hand
- Minimum of 18 months combined recent Emergency Department experience
- Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC (AHA or American Red Cross)
- NIHSS certification preferred
- Epic EMR experience required
- One professional reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the ED specialty from an assignment within the past 12 months required for consideration
Additional Information
- Will complete ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessment during orientation, with an acceptable score required on both
- PBDS assessment is waived
- Local candidates accepted at the same bill rate
- Nurses are exempt from the facility's nicotine-free requirement
