Description

American Traveler is hiring a Night Shift MRI Technologist with 5+ years of MRI experience and ARRT(MR) certification for a hospital-based imaging role.

Details

• Hospital-based MRI department covering the main hospital campus
• Night shift, 4x10 hours, Wednesday-Saturday from 9:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Works every 3rd weekend
• Uses Philips and New Lantern PACS systems with Meditech RIS
• Requires experience with Siemens and GE MRI scanners
• May float to the hospital's Observation Unit as needed

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of MRI experience required
• ARRT(MR) certification required at time of submission
• ARRT(R) and BLS certification required
• NJ State License required if applicable (may be obtained upon offer, allowing 1-2 weeks for issuance)
• Siemens scanner experience required
• Proof of completed COVID-19 vaccination series and booster required
• Proficiency in a wide range of MRI procedures including abdomen/pelvis, head and neck, chest, musculoskeletal, and cardiovascular imaging
• Experience with contrast media preparation and administration
• Knowledge of radiation safety and isolation precautions/PPE

Additional Information

• Perform diagnostic MRI imaging across multiple specialties including neuro, musculoskeletal, cardiovascular, and abdominal studies
• Utilize advanced imaging techniques such as MRA, MRV, MRCP, spectroscopy, and image post-processing
• Local candidates within 75 miles are accepted at the local rate
• Prior permanent employees of the facility are not eligible for this travel assignment
• First-time travelers with the required experience level may be considered
