Description
American Traveler is hiring an RN for an Interventional Radiology position requiring neuro and peripheral intervention experience and a VA or compact RN license.
Details
- Inpatient/outpatient Interventional Radiology department
- Department includes 4 angiography suites (2 single-plane, 2 biplane), 1 dedicated CT scanner, and 1 multipurpose fluoroscopy suite for pain management
- Utilizes advanced imaging technologies
- Epic EMR experience required
- Day shift schedule: 4x10s, 7:30am-6pm, Monday-Friday with 1 rotating day off
- Possible weekend coverage required
- On-call requirement includes one primary call per week and one primary call weekend per month with a 30-minute callback time
- Must be available to work or take call for one holiday per 13-week contract in rotation with staff
Requirements
- Active VA State or Compact RN license required (pending license accepted only for candidates holding a single-state license from a non-compact state)
- Current ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications required
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
- Experience in neuro and peripheral interventions required
- Epic charting system experience required
Additional Information
- Provide nursing care within a Level I Trauma Center for both adult and pediatric patients
- Work in a comprehensive IR department offering minimally invasive procedures for vascular, neuro, and oncologic conditions
- Focus on precision care, reduced recovery times, and alternatives to traditional surgery
- Local candidates are not accepted; radius requirements apply based on facility guidelines
- Previous employees (per diem and permanent) must have a minimum one-year separation before returning as a traveler
