Description
American Traveler is seeking an RN for a Long Term Care position in Hawaii, requiring an active HI RN license and at least 1 year of experience.
Details
- Long Term Care facility located on-site at a hospital
- Duties include assessments, treatments, medication administration, and admitting/discharging patients
- Provides ADL assistance and notifies MD/NP of pertinent patient information
- Performs specialized care including Gastrostomy Tube care, Urinary Catheter care, Nebulized Treatments, Wound Vac care, CPAP care, and Tracheostomy care
- Varied 8-hour shifts including weekends and holidays
- Candidates must be flexible with no guarantee of specific hours or shift preference
- 13-week assignment length
Requirements
- Active HI RN license required by start of assignment (may apply upon acceptance of offer if not currently licensed)
- Current BLS certification required
- Minimum of 1 year of RN experience required
- Long Term Care experience preferred
Additional Information
- All travelers must report to Employee Health 48-72 hours prior to the start of the assignment for a scheduled appointment
- Candidates should plan to arrive in Hawaii by the Thursday before a Monday start to report to Employee Health that Friday morning
- Holiday coverage required as part of the varied shift schedule
