Description

American Traveler is hiring a Radiology Technologist - X-Ray with 2+ years experience and ARRT certification for a 13-week acute care assignment.

Details

• Acute care setting in the X-Ray department
• Department has 5 rooms/scanners
• Common studies include XR and OR/C-arm fluoroscopy
• Average of 400 scans/studies performed per day
• Utilizes Epic EMR and Fuji Synapse PACS
• Equipment includes Toshiba Rad Rooms, Carestream portables, and OEC C-arms
• In-house radiologists and residents available 24/7
• 3x12 hour day shifts with rotating shifts, including holidays and weekends as scheduled
• No floating to other departments required
• No IV starts required
• No call or standby requirement

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years experience required
• Current ARRT and BLS certification required
• WV state license required if applicable
• Experience with C-arm and fluoroscopy required
• Epic EMR experience preferred

• Scrubs are provided
• Department-specific orientation provided
• Radiation badge provided by the staffing agency
• First-time travelers may be considered
• Candidates must live more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
• Previous perm employees must have a 2-year break before returning as travelers
• Previous travelers who completed a full year must take a 2-year break before returning
• Travelers may not work within the WVU system for longer than one year cumulatively before requiring a 2-year break
• All candidates interview directly with the hiring manager
• Cancellation policy allows for 2 shifts per 13-week contract
