Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Telemetry position requiring a TN or compact RN license and prior MS/Tele experience.

Details

• Work in the Medical Surgical Combination unit of a Level III Trauma Center hospital
• Serves patients of all ages
• Day shift schedule from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
• Weekend rotation required on an every other/as needed basis
• Call requirements are as needed
• Floating required as needed with possibility of floating to similar med/surg units
• Uses Omnicell for medication dispensing
• Utilizes Meditech EHR system

Requirements

• Active RN license (TN or Compact) required
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS
• Minimum 1+ years of RN experience required
• Prior MS/Tele experience required
• IV insertion skills required
• Certification/licensure required to work as an RN in TN

Additional Information

• Provide quality medical-surgical and telemetry nursing care in a professional environment
• Scrubs of any color are acceptable; casual wear is not permitted
• Candidates must reside 60 miles or greater from the facility to be considered for this travel position
• Candidates cannot have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months
• Candidates cannot be employed elsewhere full time
• Weekly orientation held on Mondays
