Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Cath Lab position requiring 4 years of cardiovascular lab or critical care experience and a MO or compact RN license.

Details

• Work in the Cardiac Catheterization unit of a hospital environment
• Provides direct patient care to adult and geriatric patient populations
• Monitors physiologic and hemodynamic data during diagnostic and therapeutic cardiovascular procedures
• Shift schedule of Monday through Thursday, 07:30-17:00
• On-call responsibilities required

Requirements

• Active MO or compact RN license required
• Current BLS certification (AHA or Red Cross)
• ACLS certification required upon start and must be maintained
• Minimum 4 years of clinical experience in a Cardiovascular Lab performing cardiac work or in Critical Care required
• BSN preferred
• DOB and SSN required for consideration

Additional Information

• Communicates continuously with physicians regarding patient condition during procedures
• Assists with maintenance of equipment and inventory, and assesses procedure room and equipment readiness
• Obtains supplies for individual cases to ensure all needs of the Cardiovascular Laboratory team are met
• Participates in performance improvement and continuous quality improvement activities
• Local candidates accepted at the same rate as travel candidates
