Description
American Traveler is hiring a Radiologic Technologist with 2+ years of independent experience and current Hawaii state licensure to work varied shifts in a diagnostic imaging department.
Details
- Diagnostic Imaging department setting
- Varied shift schedule with an average of 3 days of call per month
- No guaranteed hours or guaranteed time off requested
- Uses DR fixed equipment, DR fluoro equipment, C-arms, and portable DR equipment
- Experience with Philips DR, Philips C-arms, OEC C-arms, Philips Fluoro, and Konica DR preferred
- Epic EMR experience preferred
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of independent experience as a registered Radiologic Technologist
- Current ARRT certification and BLS certification required
- Current State of Hawaii Radiologic Technologist license required by start of assignment; license required if applicable
- Demonstrated knowledge and proficiency operating radiographic equipment independently without supervision
- Knowledge of radiation safety protocols and must be assigned a dosimetry badge
- Must be able to function independently without supervision
Additional Information
- Candidates must report to Employee Health 48-72 hours prior to the start of the assignment
- Travelers should plan to arrive on island the Friday before a Monday start to attend the Employee Health appointment on Friday morning
- No RTO will be granted during the first 13 weeks of the contract
- Candidates not currently holding an active State of Hawaii license must apply for licensure upon acceptance of the offer
