Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) position requiring a KS or compact RN license and 2+ years of experience.
Details
- Hospital-based Progressive Care Unit (Stepdown) managing post heart cath and cardiac-focused patients, plus overflow
- 16-bed unit
- Uses Cerner EMR
- 13-week assignment with a 07:00-19:30 shift schedule
Requirements
- Active KS or compact RN license currently in hand
- Current BLS certification (AHA)
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
- Nursys license verification required within 30 days prior to start
- Primary source license verification required within 30 days prior to start
Additional Information
- Provide nursing care to progressive care patients recovering from cardiac catheterization and other cardiac-focused conditions
- Radius rule applies, allowing local candidates to be considered at a reduced rate that varies by location
