Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Trauma Surgical ICU night shift position requiring 2 years of ICU experience and a KS or compact RN license.

Details

• Work in a Level 1 Trauma Surgical Intensive Care Unit (SICU) within a hospital setting
• 13-week contract assignment
• Night shift schedule from 19:00-07:30
• Required to work every other weekend
• No on-call responsibilities
• Uses OneChart EHR system

Requirements

• Active KS or compact RN license currently in hand
• Current certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), both must be AHA
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Trauma ICU or Surgical ICU experience preferred
• Nursys license verification required within 30 days prior to start

Additional Information

• Provide critical care nursing to trauma and surgical ICU patients in a Level 1 Trauma Center
• Ceil blue scrubs required
• Holiday coverage required for any holidays falling within the contracted assignment dates
• CPI/MOAB High-Risk training online portion required prior to start, with on-site portion completed during orientation
• Local candidates accepted, though a radius rule may apply which could affect pay rate
• First-time travelers may be considered for this position
