Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Progressive Care Unit position at a Level 1 trauma center, requiring a KS or compact RN license and prior PCU experience.
Details
- Work in the Stepdown/Progressive Care Unit (PCU) of a Level 1 trauma center campus
- 13-week contract assignment
- Day shift schedule from 07:00-19:30
- Required to work every other weekend
- Uses Cerner EMR system
Requirements
- Active KS or compact RN license currently in hand
- Current BLS certification (AHA)
- Minimum of 2 years of RN experience required
- Nursys license verification required within 30 days prior to start
- Current license and primary source verification required within 30 days prior to start
Additional Information
- Provide progressive care nursing services to stepdown patients requiring close monitoring
- First time travelers are welcome to apply
- Radius rule applies which may affect pay rate for local candidates
- Candidates should plan to discuss assignment extensions with their manager approximately 45 days before the end date
