Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) position requiring a KS or compact RN license and 2+ years of experience.
Details
- Work in the Stepdown/Progressive Care Unit (4SW-PCU) of a hospital setting
- Night shift schedule from 19:00-07:30
- Every other weekend required
- No on-call responsibilities
- 13-week assignment length
- Uses Cerner OneChart EHR system
- Floating may be required to like units on the same campus or another campus within Wichita
- Ceil blue scrubs required
Requirements
- Active KS or compact RN license currently in hand
- Current BLS certification (AHA)
- Minimum 2 years of relevant nursing experience required
- Nursys license/certificate verification within 30 days prior to start required
- Must possess a US Social Security Number and provide a US home address
Additional Information
- Provide progressive care nursing to stepdown-level patients
- Radius rule applies; local candidates are accepted but may receive a reduced rate depending on distance from the facility
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
