Description
American Traveler is hiring a Mammography Technologist for a 13-week assignment requiring 2+ years of experience in a Diagnostic Imaging Center setting.
Details
- Work in a Diagnostic Imaging Center performing specialized mammographic imaging procedures
- Patient population includes patients of all ages
- 4x10 schedule, Monday through Thursday
- Shift hours from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
- 13-week assignment length
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a Mammography Technologist
- Current BLS certification required
- DCI/BVP Workplace Violence Prevention certification required
- License required if applicable
- Must be able to work under general supervision performing specialized radiographic imaging procedures
Additional Information
- Participate in direct patient care and support facility quality and safety initiatives
- Assist radiologists in the diagnosis and treatment of medical disorders through mammographic imaging
- Assist with complex and sensitive patient and family issues
- Ensure quality and safe delivery of care in compliance with local and federal regulations
