Description
American Traveler is hiring a Mammography Technologist with 2+ years of experience for a 13-week assignment in a Diagnostic Imaging Center.
Details
- Diagnostic Imaging Center setting
- Performs specialized mammographic imaging procedures to assist radiologists in diagnosis and treatment
- 4x10 schedule, Monday through Thursday, 07:00-17:30
- Cares for patients of all ages
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Mammography Technologist
- BLS certification (American Heart Association or Red Cross)
- License required if applicable
- DCI/BVP (Workplace Violence Prevention) certification required
Additional Information
- Participates in direct patient care and facility quality and safety initiatives
- Assists with complex and sensitive patient and family issues
- Adheres to local and federal regulatory standards
- Works under general supervision of the Director of Radiology Services
