Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Neuro Trauma ICU position at a Level 1 trauma facility requiring 2+ years of ICU experience and a KS or compact RN license.
Details
- >Work in the Neuro Trauma ICU at a Level 1 trauma campus
- 13-week assignment with a 07:00-19:30 shift schedule
- Required to work every other weekend
- No call requirements
- Uses Cerner OneChart EHR system
Requirements
- Active KS or compact RN license currently in hand
- Current certifications: BLS and ACLS (AHA)
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
- Nursys license verification required within 30 days prior to start
- Current license and primary source verification required within 30 days prior to start
Additional Information
- Provide critical care nursing to neuro trauma ICU patients in a Level 1 trauma environment
- Ceil blue scrubs required for this unit
- CPI/MOAB High-Risk training online portion required prior to start, with on-site portion completed during orientation
- NIH Stroke Scale certification required, with Group A updated yearly and Groups B-F updated every 2 years
- Radius rule applies, allowing local candidates at a reduced rate depending on distance from facility
