Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Level 1 trauma CTICU position requiring 2-3 years of ICU experience and prior travel nursing experience.
Details
- Work in the Cardiothoracic Intensive Care Unit (CTICU) of a Level 1 trauma hospital
- Provide 24-hour monitoring and advanced care for patients recovering from complex heart, lung, and vascular surgeries or dealing with severe cardiac and/or respiratory conditions
- 12-hour rotating shifts covering both days and nights
- 36 hours per week with shift times from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
- Uses Epic EMR
- No floating required
- No charge nurse responsibilities required
Requirements
- Active MA RN license required in hand
- Current BLS-AHA and ACLS certifications required
- Minimum 2-3 years of RN experience required, including at least 2 years in CT/CVICU
- Level 1 trauma center experience required
- Epic EMR experience required
- Prior travel nursing experience required
Additional Information
- Deliver specialized critical care nursing to high-acuity cardiothoracic surgical and cardiac/respiratory patients
- Weekly orientation provided
- Any color scrubs permitted
- Must complete pass/fail Tele/ECG and Medication testing
- Required vaccinations include COVID (with booster) and Flu, with medical exemptions allowed
- Local candidates not accepted; must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility
- Previous Beth Israel Lahey Health employees (Travel, Perm, or Per Diem) must have a 6+ month break before returning to any BILH facility
- First-time travelers not considered for this role
