Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Level 1 trauma CTICU position requiring 2-3 years of ICU experience and prior travel nursing experience.

Details

• Work in the Cardiothoracic Intensive Care Unit (CTICU) of a Level 1 trauma hospital
• Provide 24-hour monitoring and advanced care for patients recovering from complex heart, lung, and vascular surgeries or dealing with severe cardiac and/or respiratory conditions
• 12-hour rotating shifts covering both days and nights
• 36 hours per week with shift times from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
• Uses Epic EMR
• No floating required
• No charge nurse responsibilities required

Requirements

• Active MA RN license required in hand
• Current BLS-AHA and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 2-3 years of RN experience required, including at least 2 years in CT/CVICU
• Level 1 trauma center experience required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Prior travel nursing experience required

Additional Information

• Deliver specialized critical care nursing to high-acuity cardiothoracic surgical and cardiac/respiratory patients
• Weekly orientation provided
• Any color scrubs permitted
• Must complete pass/fail Tele/ECG and Medication testing
• Required vaccinations include COVID (with booster) and Flu, with medical exemptions allowed
• Local candidates not accepted; must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility
• Previous Beth Israel Lahey Health employees (Travel, Perm, or Per Diem) must have a 6+ month break before returning to any BILH facility
• First-time travelers not considered for this role
