Description

American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab / VIR Radiologic Technologist requiring 2+ years of experience, ARRT registration, and ACLS certification for a hospital-based cardiac and vascular interventional role.

Details

• 110-bed hospital setting in Dublin, Ohio
• Cath Lab department with preference for candidates with additional Vascular IR experience
• Assists Interventional Cardiologist with diagnostic and interventional procedures including scrubbing, monitoring, and circulating
• Uses X-ray equipment, fluoroscopy, and hemodynamic monitoring systems
• 4x10 hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
• Weekend and weekday call required
• Every other weekend and every other holiday coverage required
• Travelers are first to float
• EPIC charting experience required
• 13-week assignment length

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of Cath Lab and IR experience required
• Graduate of an accredited radiography program
• ARRT registration required
• Ohio Radiologic License (ODH) required if applicable
• BLS and ACLS certification required
• Vascular IR Tech experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, exposure, positioning, physics, radiation protection, and medical terminology
• Knowledge of coronary and peripheral anatomy and sterile technique

Additional Information

• Serve as the primary assistant to the Interventional Cardiologist for diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures
• Responsibilities include scrubbing, monitoring, and circulating during procedures
• Maximum of 10 days RTO per contract, with no RTO permitted during the initial weeks of the assignment
• Local candidates accepted at a reduced bill rate
• Permanent address must be greater than 50 miles from the most central facility to qualify for standard travel eligibility
• More than one call-off may result in termination, and a no call/no show results in immediate termination
• Free parking available in any unrestricted space with no pass required
