Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced ICU RN with strong CRRT skills for a night shift assignment requiring prior travel experience.

Details

• Work in the ICU on 4x12 night shifts (1900-0700 or 0000-1200)
• Patient ratio of 1:2-3
• Will float to IMCU (stepdown) as needed
• Epic charting system experience preferred

Requirements

• Active WI or Compact RN license required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required in hand at time of consideration
• NIHSS certification required, may be pending at time of consideration but must be completed during compliance
• Minimum 2 years of recent ICU experience required
• Strong CRRT skills required
• Prior travel nursing experience required
• Two supervisor references within the past year required, with one from the most recent assignment and one from the second most recent assignment
• Teaching and community hospital experience preferred
• Previous charge experience preferred

Additional Information

• Deliver critical care to ICU patients including those requiring CRRT, ventilator management, and cardiac/vasoactive drip titration
• Skills across cardiovascular, neurological, respiratory, and renal specialties are valued, including IABP, Impella, EVD, and ICP monitoring
• A video interview may be required depending on candidate eligibility
• Badge photo (passport-style) required within 24 hours of offer acceptance
• Travelers may return to this facility only after a minimum 1-year separation
• Travel pairs are accepted
• Facility cannot accommodate candidates with latex allergies
• Orientation includes facility modules averaging 3-4 hours
