Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced M/S Telemetry RN for a 13-week night shift assignment requiring strong tele strip interpretation skills and an active MA RN license.

Details

• 41-bed Medical Telemetry unit within a Cardiology department
• Patient population includes cardiac, respiratory, metabolic, psych, substance use disorder, GU, and GI cases
• Clinician to patient ratio of 1:4-5 on days and 1:5-6 on evenings and nights
• Straight night shift schedule (7:00pm-7:30am) with every other weekend required
• Floating required to applicable units as needed
• Uses EPIC EMR for charting

Requirements

• Active Massachusetts RN license required (no conditional or pending licenses accepted)
• Current AHA BLS certification required
• AHA ACLS certification required
• Minimum of 2 years of experience working in one location
• Minimum of 2 years of experience working as a traveler
• Must be able to read and interpret telemetry strips
• Skilled in cardiac drips, TR bands, and high-flow oxygen administration
• Flu vaccine required with no religious or medical exemptions allowed
