Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced M/S Telemetry RN for a 36-hour Nights and EOW position requiring active MA RN licensure and cardiac telemetry skills.

Details

• 41-bed Medical Cardiology/Telemetry unit
• Patient population includes Cardiac, Respiratory, Metabolic, Psych, Substance Use Disorder, GU, and GI cases
• Clinician to patient ratio of 1:4/5 on days and 1:5/6 on evenings and nights
• Straight Night shift schedule (19:00-07:30) with every other weekend required
• Floating required to applicable units as needed
• Uses EPIC EMR for charting
• 36 hours per week, 13-week assignment

Requirements

• Active Massachusetts RN license required (no pending or conditional licenses accepted)
• Current AHA BLS certification required
• Minimum of 2 years of experience working in one location and 2 years of experience as a Traveler required
• Must be able to interpret telemetry strips
• Skilled in Cardiac Telemetry, Cardiac Drips, TR Bands, and Hi-Flow Oxygen administration
• Primary source license verification required within 30 days of start (NURSYS and BON)
