Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Level IV/Surgical NICU night block position requiring PALS certification and GA or compact RN licensure.

Details

Work in a Level IV/Surgical Neonatal Intensive Care Unit within a hospital setting
Treats neonatal diagnoses including CDH, MAS, NEC, TEF/EA, abdominal wall defects, BPD, pulmonary hypertension, and pre/peri/post-op cases
Weekend block night shift schedule covering Friday, Saturday, and Sunday
12-hour night shifts, 3 shifts per week
Open to floating to other units
No on-call responsibilities

Requirements

Active RN license (GA or Compact) currently in hand
Current PALS certification required, NRP preferred
Level IV/Surgical NICU experience required
Must pass a nicotine test along with drug screen, no exceptions
Flu vaccine required during flu season, no medical or religious exemptions accepted

Additional Information

Provide specialized nursing care to critically ill neonates in a Level IV surgical NICU
Facility is nicotine-free
Must work at least one holiday if it falls during the contract period
