Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Tele Float Pool position requiring an active OH or compact license and 18 months of recent MS/Tele experience.

Details

• Hospital setting on a Med/Surg Tele Float Pool team
• Potential to float to units J1-2, J33, and the Emergency Department to care for the same patient population
• Rotating day/night shift schedule: 7pm-7:30am and 7am-7:30pm on a 3x12 hour basis
• Shifts may be adjusted by the facility as needed to meet operational demands
• Required to work at least every other holiday

Requirements

• Active Ohio RN license or compact license required in hand
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required from AHA or American Red Cross
• 18 months of combined permanent experience in the specialty required, preferably within one location
• 18 months of recent MS/Tele experience required, travel experience acceptable
• Must successfully pass an ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessment during orientation

Additional Information

• Provide nursing care to Med/Surg Tele patients across the float pool and potentially in J1-2, J33, and ED units
• 20-week assignment for winter coverage, with 13-week assignments also being considered
• PBDS assessment is waived for this role
• Nurses are exempt from the facility's nicotine-free requirement
• Local candidates accepted at the same bill rate
• Permanent and per diem candidates cannot return to this health system for 1 year from their previous end date
