Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Operating Room position requiring circulating experience and a AZ or compact RN license.

Details

• Acute care hospital setting with a Level 3 trauma designation
• ,
• Operating Room unit with 4 ORs
• Handles General, Ortho, Neuro, OB-GYN, and ENT surgical cases
• Circulating RN role only
• Typical patient ratio is 1:1
• Uses Allscripts as the charting system (EMR)
• Day shift schedule, Monday through Friday, 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM
• Weekend and call requirements vary and will be discussed during interview
• No floating required
• 24/7 in-house pharmacy support available

Requirements

• Active RN license (AZ or Compact) required
• Current BLS certification required
• ACLS and PALS certifications preferred
• NIHSS certification required
• Minimum 1-2 years of Operating Room nursing experience required
• BSN not required for this position

Additional Information

• Circulate for a variety of surgical case types including General, Ortho, Neuro, OB-GYN, and ENT
• Blue scrubs are provided by the hospital
• Orientation sessions are held every Monday
• Cancellation policy allows up to 3 cancellations per 13-week assignment
