Description

American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg Tele RN for a night shift assignment requiring 18 months of recent Med/Surg Telemetry experience and an active OH or compact RN license.

Details

• Med/Surg Telemetry unit within a hospital setting
• Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM

Requirements

• Active OH RN license or compact license in hand at time of consideration
• Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required
• NIHSS certification required
• Minimum of 18 months of recent Med/Surg Telemetry experience, preferably within the last 3 years
• One professional reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the specialty required, from an assignment worked within the past 12 months
• No open background check cases or professional license hits accepted

Additional Information

• Provide direct patient care to Med/Surg Telemetry patients on the night shift
• ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments completed during orientation, with up to 2 attempts to achieve a passing score
• COVID-19 and Flu vaccines required, with medical or religious exemptions only
• Nurses are exempt from the facility's nicotine-free requirement, though this exemption is temporary
• Expected to work every other holiday
• Local candidates accepted at the same bill rate
• Permanent employees cannot return to Cleveland Clinic hospitals for 1 year from their previous end date
