Description

American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg Tele RN for a night shift position requiring 12 months of Med/Surg Telemetry experience and an active OH or compact RN license.

Details

• Med/Surg Telemetry unit within a hospital setting
• Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM

Requirements

• Active RN license (Ohio or Compact) in hand
• Current AHA certifications: BLS and ACLS required, NIHSS preferred
• Minimum of 12 months of permanent Med/Surg Telemetry experience
• One professional reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the specialty required
• References must be from assignments worked within the past 12 months

Additional Information

• Provide nursing care to Med/Surg Telemetry patients on the night shift
• Travelers expected to work every other holiday
• COVID-19 and flu vaccines required, with medical/religious exemptions only
• ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments completed during orientation, with up to two attempts to pass
• Local candidates accepted at the same bill rate
• Permanent employees cannot return to this health system for 1 year from their previous end date
• Assignments limited to 18 consecutive months, with a required 6-month break before returning to another assignment within the health system
