Description
American Traveler is seeking a Med/Surg RN for a night shift position at an acute care hospital, requiring an active NC or compact RN license and 2+ years of experience.
Details
- Work in the Medical Surgical Combination unit of an 86-bed acute care hospital
- 24-bed unit with adult patient population
- Patient ratio of 1:6
- Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
- 36 guaranteed weekly hours
- Weekend rotation varies, working every other or every third weekend
- No on-call requirements
- Float required based on unit rotation
- Uses Paragon EHR system
Requirements
- Active RN license (NC or Compact) currently in hand
- Current certifications: BLS and ACLS (AHA certifications required)
- Minimum 2 years of Medical Surgical nursing experience required
- Strong Medical Surgical clinical competencies required
- Social Security number and date of birth required for consideration
Additional Information
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to adult medical surgical patients
- Must reside 60 miles or greater from the facility to be eligible for the travel pay rate
- Candidates who have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months are not eligible
- Must not be employed elsewhere full-time while on assignment
- 13-week assignment length
