Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Cath Lab position requiring a CA RN license and call coverage.
Details
- Work in the Cath Lab unit of an acute care hospital
- Monday through Friday day shift schedule (5x8 hours, 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM)
- Call required, averaging 7 overnight call shifts per 14-day pay period
- Facility typically staffs call teams of 3-4 people
- Uses Meditech charting system
Requirements
- Active CA RN license required in hand at time of submission
- Current ACLS and BLS certifications required
- Minimum 1 year of Cath Lab experience required
- LA Fire Card completed within the last 30 days required
- Must provide 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty/setting
- Must disclose any license or background check hits prior to submission
Additional Information
- Scrubs of any color are accepted
- Free parking is available on site
- Must commit to working 3 of the 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
- Travelers are expected to float between all facilities within the state as needed
- Candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility are considered local
- Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
- Candidates must disclose any prior work history at a Providence facility, including dates and location if applicable
