Description

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist for an Inpatient Rehab position requiring 2+ years of experience and BLS certification.

Details

• Acute care hospital setting with an attached 71-bed skilled Extended Care facility
• Level IV trauma center with 25 total staffed beds
• Work across both inpatient and outpatient settings
• Patient ratio of 1:6
• Day shift schedule, 5x8 hours, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday
• No weekend shifts required
• No on-call requirements
• Float within scope to meet facility needs as required
• Uses Cerner charting system in the hospital and PCC in the long-term care setting

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of physical therapy experience required
• BLS certification required
• State license required if applicable; compact license accepted
• Prior travel experience required
• Cerner charting experience required
• Pending license not accepted

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include treatment across orthopedic, neurologic, cardiopulmonary, and geriatric patient populations
• Perform evaluations, reassessments, and documentation including long and short-term goals and plans of care
• Utilize various modalities including E-stim, ultrasound, TENS, hydrotherapy, and traction
• Work with equipment such as crutches, walkers, gait belts, sliding boards, and sit-to-stand lifts
• Scrub color is flexible per facility dress code policy

• Local candidates accepted with no radius rule
• No RTO permitted within the first two weeks due to orientation; RTO limited to one week for the remainder of the assignment
