Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Neuro ICU position requiring a VA or compact RN license and 2 years of critical care experience.
Details
- Neuro ICU unit with 18 beds
- Patient ratio of 1:2 which can flex up or down based on acuity
- D/N rotation with 12-hour shifts totaling 36 hours per week
- Every other weekend required
- May be required to float to the Neuro IMC unit
- Uses Epic EMR
Requirements
- Active RN license (Standard or Compact) currently in hand, VA or compact license required
- Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS
- CCRN, SCRN, or CNRN certification preferred
- Minimum 2 years of Neuro ICU experience required
Additional Information
- Every other holiday coverage required
- Floor orientation consists of 2 shifts, with additional shifts if needed
- Scrub requirement: Navy blue pants with solid navy blue or solid white tops, and solid navy blue or solid white jackets
