Description
American Traveler is hiring a Mammography Technologist for an outpatient breast imaging center, requiring ARRT (M) and ARRT (R) certification with 2 years of preferred experience.
Details
- Outpatient breast imaging clinic located in a Medical Office Building on campus
- Perform screening and diagnostic mammography exams
- Average caseload of 15-18 exams per day per technologist
- 4x10 hour day shifts with varying start times including 6:30am-5pm, 7am-3:30pm, 7:30am-4pm, and 8am-4:30pm
- Schedule requires flexibility to accommodate varying shift times based on unit needs
- Monday through Friday schedule with no weekends required, though Saturday coverage may be needed
- No call requirements
- Closed the day after Thanksgiving and open on Christmas Eve
- Epic EMR experience required
Requirements
- ARRT (M) and ARRT (R) certification required
- BLS certification required
- License required if applicable
- 2 years of experience preferred
- Epic EMR experience required
- Experience with 3D mammography, diagnostic mammograms, digital mammography, and screening mammograms
- Experience with Hologic 3D equipment
Additional Information
- First-time travelers will be considered for this position
- Former permanent employees of any Providence-affiliated facility must be separated from the health system for a minimum of 3 months to qualify for a travel position at this location
- Travelers are expected to float between facilities within the state as needed
