Description
American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab / Cardiology Tech with 2+ years experience and ARRT certification for a 13-week day shift assignment.
Details
- Cardiac Cath Lab unit within a hospital setting
- No IR cases performed
- Patient ratio of 1:1 in the procedure room and 1:3-4 in prep/hold
- 4x10 hour day shifts from 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM, subject to change during interview
- Call requirement of 1-2 nights per week (typically 1 night) and every 4th or 5th weekend
- Meditech EMR experience preferred
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of experience required
- ARRT certification required
- BLS and ACLS certification required
- Kentucky Radiation License required upon start date, may submit with pending license
- Valid Kentucky RN license or Compact RN license required, if applicable
- AHA certifications only accepted
- Flu vaccination required with no exemptions accepted for travelers
- Impella experience preferred
- ARRT CI and CCI RCIS certifications preferred
Additional Information
- First-time travelers accepted, though prior travel experience is preferred
- Candidates must reside outside a 65-mile radius of the facility as local travelers are not accepted
- Requested time off (RTO) must be submitted and approved RTO will appear on the confirmation document
- Facility has a hard document due date by 5PM PST on the Tuesday prior to start date
- Candidates with open or pending background or license issues will not be accepted
