Description
American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg Tele RN for a night shift Cardiac Progressive Care Unit (CPCU) position requiring a Maine or compact RN license and 3 years of experience.
Details
- Work in the Cardiac Progressive Care Unit (CPCU) of a hospital setting
- Patient population includes cardiology and adult med-surg cases requiring telemetry monitoring
- Night shift schedule from 7p-7a
- 13-week assignment length
- 36 guaranteed hours per week
Requirements
- Active Maine or compact RN license required
- Minimum 3 years of RN experience required
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications required within 30 days of hire
- Bachelor's Degree preferred
- MOAB or CPI certifications preferred but not required
- Telemetry experience preferred
- Strong communication and multi-tasking skills required
Additional Information
- Perform patient care functions under the supervision of the Unit Director in accordance with State of Maine Board of Nursing standards and facility policies
- Clinical Leader/Charge Nurse provides direct supervision during assigned shifts
- Flexible hours may be required
- Candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility are accepted at a lower local bill rate
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
