Description

American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg Tele RN for a night shift Cardiac Progressive Care Unit (CPCU) position requiring a Maine or compact RN license and 3 years of experience.

Details

  • Work in the Cardiac Progressive Care Unit (CPCU) of a hospital setting
  • Patient population includes cardiology and adult med-surg cases requiring telemetry monitoring
  • Night shift schedule from 7p-7a
  • 13-week assignment length
  • 36 guaranteed hours per week

Requirements

  • Active Maine or compact RN license required
  • Minimum 3 years of RN experience required
  • Current BLS and ACLS certifications required within 30 days of hire
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • MOAB or CPI certifications preferred but not required
  • Telemetry experience preferred
  • Strong communication and multi-tasking skills required

Additional Information

  • Perform patient care functions under the supervision of the Unit Director in accordance with State of Maine Board of Nursing standards and facility policies
  • Clinical Leader/Charge Nurse provides direct supervision during assigned shifts
  • Flexible hours may be required
  • Candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility are accepted at a lower local bill rate
