Description

American Traveler is hiring an Echo Technologist with an Associate's Degree in Ultrasound and RDCS or CCI certification to perform cardiac diagnostic testing in a cardio diagnostics department.

Details

• Work in a Cardio Diagnostics (ECG) department performing echocardiography and cardiac diagnostic testing
• Day shift schedule from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, 5 days per week, 40 hours weekly
• On-call responsibilities 1-2 days per week
• Weekend coverage required every 5th weekend
• Rotational holiday coverage
• 13-week contract assignment

Requirements

• Associate's Degree in Ultrasound required
• RDCS (ARDMS) or CCI certification required
• BLS certification (American Heart Association) required
• Minimum 3 years of previous healthcare experience required
• License required if applicable
• Ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks while coordinating patient flow

Additional Information

• Oversee technical procedures, patient care, and workflows in the echocardiography laboratory
• Perform routine and complex echocardiographic sonography imaging procedures following departmental guidelines
• Critique positioning, technical factors, and alignment to demonstrate acceptable imaging quality standards
• Review patient data for accuracy, quality, and completeness
• Document exams accurately and completely
• Assist performing physicians and sonographers in providing high-quality echocardiographic exams
• Cross-train to other divisions of CV Services
• Candidates must live outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be eligible
• RTO not to exceed 7 total days per 13-week contract
