Description
American Traveler is hiring an Echo Technologist with an Associate's Degree in Ultrasound and RDCS or CCI certification to perform cardiac diagnostic testing in a cardio diagnostics department.
Details
- Work in a Cardio Diagnostics (ECG) department performing echocardiography and cardiac diagnostic testing
- Day shift schedule from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, 5 days per week, 40 hours weekly
- On-call responsibilities 1-2 days per week
- Weekend coverage required every 5th weekend
- Rotational holiday coverage
- 13-week contract assignment
Requirements
- Associate's Degree in Ultrasound required
- RDCS (ARDMS) or CCI certification required
- BLS certification (American Heart Association) required
- Minimum 3 years of previous healthcare experience required
- License required if applicable
- Ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks while coordinating patient flow
Additional Information
- Oversee technical procedures, patient care, and workflows in the echocardiography laboratory
- Perform routine and complex echocardiographic sonography imaging procedures following departmental guidelines
- Critique positioning, technical factors, and alignment to demonstrate acceptable imaging quality standards
- Review patient data for accuracy, quality, and completeness
- Document exams accurately and completely
- Assist performing physicians and sonographers in providing high-quality echocardiographic exams
- Cross-train to other divisions of CV Services
- Candidates must live outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be eligible
- RTO not to exceed 7 total days per 13-week contract
